What species of woods do you use?
Available wood will vary based on supply. Currently we have Cedar, Spalted River Birch, Oak and "FOG".

What does "Spalted" mean?
Wood that contains blackish irregular lines as a result of fungal decay, and sometimes used to produce a decorative surface.
What wood type is "FOG"?
Ancronym used by Woodturners meaning "Found on Ground" when the species of wood cannot be acurately identifyed.
What finish do you use on your items?
Natural: Sanded smooth. No finish
Flat: Walnut oil or a mineral oil beeswax blend. This finish is food safe and easily renewed by the client.
Gloss: CA Glue or Lacquer depending on the shape of the item.
